OUR MISSIONS HISTORY

Our opportunities to help fulfill the Great Commission are near, national and international.

Near to home, we support the Crossroads Pregnancy Center.

Nationally, we participate in Operation Christmas Child, the annual Christmas outreach through Samaritan’s Purse and we have been involved with Hurricane Katrina Relief in the Gulf States of the USA. Sending funds to the region and teams to Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.

Internationally, over the past 20 years individuals and teams from Hanford have been sent out to:

- Encourage pastors in Japan
- Smuggle Bibles into communist China
- Help the struggling churches in Bacolod City, Philippines
- Participate in work projects at Rancho Sordo Mudo, Ensenada, Baja California
- Participate in medical ministry in Tegucigalpa, Honduras
- Hold Vacation Bible Schools in Por Venir, Baja California
- Participate in work projects at Toledo Christian Academy in Belize
- Attend the Missions Training Program of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa in Hungary

In October of 2006 we completed our sixth Project Pucallpa, a short-term outreach to the capitol city of Lima and to a small city in the mountains of Peru. There we came alongside the local Calvary Chapels by holding 2 Inductive Bible Study Seminars and helping with various other ministries and work projects. That team consisted of seven members of our fellowship who answered God’s call to “Go into all the world…”

Check out our Videos page for some footage from that trip.

In the first week of 2006 we sent a team of eight to Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi to aid in relief in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. A second team followed after in mid-February.
