Real-time translation is the process of converting spoken or written words from one language into another instantly, with little to no delay, so that two people who speak different n languages can communicate as if they shared the same one. It happens live, while the person is speaking or typing, rather than after the fact.
It’s not something we are waiting for; it’s here. It’s has already sparked debate over weather or not it will ever be necessary to learn a foreign language.
